The fabrication department at Scranton Manufacturing Company donated to the Ram Readers program at Jefferson-Scranton elementary.
Scranton Manufacturing has an incentive program in which departments earn points for their productivity and safety records. Each department then chooses what they would like to do with their earnings. The fabrications department selected the Ram Readers program to receive a portion of their earning. The donation will be used to purchase books for distributing to every student in the J-S elementary building.
The students in the building thanked the fabrication department for supporting their reading goals. The check was presented to Michele Hardin, reading teacher.
